Unorthodox Blend Live

To celebrate Rosie Lee’s 24th birthday, we’re hosting three days of live conversations. If you’ve been following us, you know we love diving into eclectic topics.

Here’s a taste of who we’ll be spoke to:

Richard Hoare
Music, negotiation, and philosophy—Richard is a legal pioneer in the UK music industry, a DJ, and an award-winning author. He’s a man who can talk about anything, from ley lines to politics, and still leave you wanting more.

Mick McConnell
Age, resilience, and the power of working with good people. Mick’s got 20+ years of design experience, from his days at Samsung to being a professor of design. He’s a kindred spirit, passionate about setting the world on fire—but in the best way possible.

Dean Evans
Dean’s a 25-year veteran of the gaming industry, having worked on massive franchises like GTA, Red Dead, and Assassin’s Creed. He’s also the one who introduced me to Russell, so in a way, he’s responsible for all of this!

Mina Kitsos
OG Sneakerhead and partnership lead at Alyx & Au Depart, Mina’s journey through the male-dominated worlds of skate and sneaker culture is inspiring. She’s built an incredible career through pure passion and determination.

Mark Gurney
Founder of 2nd Drop Records and a well-known figure in London’s restaurant scene. Mark’s a true multi-hyphenate, someone who isn’t afraid to pivot and take on new challenges. One of the warmest people I’ve ever met.

James Nelson
James has been at Rosie Lee for over 13 years and is our Amsterdam creative lead. He’s known for his obsessive attention to detail and ability to push projects that little bit further to make them exceptional.

Derek Morrison
Derek’s led teams at StockX and now UNiDAYS. Wherever he goes, he brings creativity, culture, and business together, always striving to make a real impact.

Lauren Lotka
Lauren runs her own consultancy and has worked with some of the biggest brands like adidas and The North Face. She has an incredible understanding of creative businesses and is brilliant at building culturally aligned teams.

Tom Sebright-King
Our Operations Director and the original Unorthodox Blend guinea pig. Tom’s passionate about how businesses treat people and create environments where everyone benefits. He’s our last guest, helping us reflect on what we’ve learned over the three days.

Expect a mix of insights, laughter, and deep conversations with some seriously inspiring people.
